Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Within 100 miles of the cities and state listed below: Bloomington, IL Dunwoody, GA Richardson, TX Responsibilities We are excited to expanding our PL Special Events Endorsements USA team. This team is responsible for typing and charging Special Event endorsements for our policyholders. Key Responsibilities: Serves as a technical and procedural resource to assist in resolving policy/policyholder concerns Partners with underwriters to service Agency and Agency Leadership concerns and/or handles Producer/Broker inquiries Communicates with Policyholders, Agents, Producers, or third parties via various communication media, including chat and phone Handles various contact types (i.e., chat software and phone) to resolve Agent questions and issues Maintains and updates policyholder records Performs general mail desk responsibilities Provides assistance by performing a variety of service and support functions Additional Responsibilities: Types and/or processes a variety of reports, endorsements, filings, and form letters Enters miscellaneous system transactions as directed May specialize in a portion or product line of P&C Operations Underwriting Service Assistant (USA) Position Details (Production) This position is for USA Production. As a USA your primary responsibility will be processing applications and policy transactions electronically for new and existing business in a production driven and fast paced environment. Our USAs work in a production environment, which is a non-phone job where the USA is evaluated on the amount of transactions you can produce and the quality of those transactions. Ability to follow standard work processes: Review and process applications and/or policy changes according to established guidelines. Prepare/type a variety of reports, endorsements, filings, form letters and cancellation letters. Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and detective type research work is required. Focused and Resourceful: Knows where to find answers and serves as a technical and procedural resource. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to produce quality work. Accountable to your team, your work, and your schedule. Communicates clearly, professionally, and empathetically both verbal and written: Ability to provide remarkable customer service in all interactions with agents and associates. Ability to handle multiple computer applications in a fast-paced collaborative team environment: Experience with Microsoft Office software. Decision Making. Qualifications Our Underwriting Service Assistants demonstrate the following skills in their day to day work: Knows where to find answers and serves as a technical and procedural resource to assist in resolving policy and/or policyholder questions Maintains and updates policyholder records through attention to detail (e.g. Change of address, change in policy coverage, etc.) Communicates clearly and professionally through remarkable customer service skills Handles multiple computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office) while maintaining quality records in a fast-paced collaborative team environment Thrives on accountability to your team, your work and your schedule! Additional Information: Our team works in a shift environment between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and may include holidays based on workload and job requirements. Schedules may change based on business need and will require flexibility. Training will be provided, and the length of training will depend on the specific job assignment. Limited time off will be granted during training. Schedules during training are subject to change based on business need. PL Fire Service Care Center, SFPP, PL Fire USA production, and/or Typing and Charging PL Special Event Endorsements experience preferred, but not required.
