Job Description
- Req#: UNDER001425
- Accurately enter received submissions within 15-30 minutes of receipt.
- Flag all prior submissions as appropriate for underwriter review.
- Return all submissions for unapproved brokerages or when missing clearance information.
- Attach all subsequent underwriting information to appropriate file for underwriter review.
- Two to five years of data entry or related experience preferred
- Related insurance experience preferred
- Extremely high degree of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
- Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to independently execute training instructions and make judgment decisions
- Working knowledge of Outlook
- Hourly compensation with performance-based bonus opportunities

Part Time Underwriting Technician (Remote)

Are you an individual looking for a remote position? Kinsale Insurance is looking for a professional individual with data entry experience to clear our received submissions. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 10:00am - 3:00pm with a couple of hours on the weekend. *Candidates must live in a 50 mile radius of Richmond VA. This is an excellent job for a college student who wants to enter the insurance profession upon graduation or someone looking for extra hours of income. The Insurance industry is booming, and Kinsale Insurance is a leader in the Excess and Surplus space. We are based in Richmond, VA and our growth is amazing. We will train you on the submission system and get you set up with the technology to operate out of your home.
