Job Description
- Req#: 146975
- Successful completion of Grade 12 required
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course is preferred
- Current WHMIS certification required
- Recent NVCI training / certification considered an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications for Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Demonstrated proficiency in current Meditech applications (Admissions/OE/EMR) is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy area and to adapt to frequent interruptions in activities (flexible/adaptable)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a polite, courteous and pleasant attitude towards patients, staff and co-workers
- Demonstrated physical ability to lift and transfer heavy loads required
- Demonstrated ability to function well as a team member required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

The Unit Aide provides support to the unit staff and/or department activities contributing to efficient and effective operations.

$20.13 - $21.69 hourly
