What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies while performing responsibilities ethically
- Utilize the Hospital Information System to enter requests, schedule procedures, and process patient charges
- Serve as a receptionist, answering telephones and performing general clerical duties
- Monitor patients' charts for signed MD orders and maintain accurate records
- Assist with the orientation of new employees and support the needs of the unit

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to safely perform essential functions
- Strong customer relation skills to effectively communicate with physicians, patients, and families
- Adherence to hospital policies, including confidentiality and infection control standards
- Regular and prompt attendance with the ability to work as scheduled and overtime as required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or related field
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems and medical record management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to participate in Performance Improvement activities
- Previous experience assisting with employee orientation
