      Req#: R7862
      The Unit Coordinator at Sturdy Memorial Hospital performs clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on individual patient care units. They function within policies, procedures and guidelines of SMH in accordance with the CDC and OSHA standards, and any other applicable regulatory or accreditation agency.

      Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

      • Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience
      • Excellent secretarial skills
      • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills in a professional manner, good organizational skills, personal maturity, accuracy and flexibility.

      Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

      • Prefer previous knowledge of medical technology
      • Computer skills
      • Unit Secretary experience
      • Successful completion of orientation

      Educational Requirements:

      • High School Graduate or equivalent

      License/Certification: N/A

      Age Specific Criteria:

      Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
