      The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Unit Operations Advisor (UOA) on a permanent basis on our Process Operations team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

      Are you a subject matter expert on process operations with a knack for finding innovative solutions? We are looking for someone with these skills to join our Process team! This individual will provide technical recommendations on maintenance activities, address unit specific issues, and be involved in Turnaround planning and implementation.       What you’ll do:

      • Monitor and adjust unit operations to current operating specifications while maximizing efficiency and maintaining safe operation.
      • Act as a technical advisor to recommend, and/or direct the course of action to be taken during periods of upset, start-up and shutdown, emergency operations, and during any experimental operations that may be carried out.
      • Perform unit safety and safety related audits within assigned Zone and follows up as is appropriate to any issues found.
      • Management of Change (MOC) and Process Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
      • Identify limitations and changes that effect the weekly production plan.
      • Collaborate with maintenance planning and coordination to build the weekly maintenance schedule.

      You will work closely with other functions in our Process Department business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Engineering, Maintenance and Inspection on issues and repairs in the units.

      Who you are:

      You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:

      • Have a minimum of 8 years of process experience in a petroleum refinery or related industry.
      • Have a minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or Engineering Degreea combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
