      Summary of the Job:

      The Universal Credit Card In-Park Sales Director is responsible for implementing and executing the sales strategy, goals, and overall sales approach for the Universal credit card program. This role focuses on optimizing sales processes, increasing market penetration, and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales execution and management, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Sales Oversight:

      • Set clear sales targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of Universal Parks.
      • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure cohesive and effective sales efforts.
      • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
      • Collaborate with sales team managers to set account goals for sales ambassadors. Monthly one-on-one meetings with each manager of team to go over results, needs, opportunities, and best practices

      Promote Guest Experience and Engagement:

      • Ensure that the sales approach aligns with Universal Parks’ commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
      • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction with the Universal credit card.
      • Gather and act on guest feedback to continuously improve the sales process and product offerings.

      Operational Oversight:

      • Evolve the strategy on growing the point-of-sale support across all theme park destinations by incorporating a focus on product offer, unique brand experiences, as well as digital contactless onboarding and sales engagement strategies.
      • Ensure the training created and provided is compliant with all rules and regulations.
      • Partner with account executive on go-to-market strategies and reporting.
      • Make recommendations for hours of operation and staffing levels.
      • Monitor compliance procedures, ensuring policies are consistently practiced at each location.
      • Proactively identify and collect market intelligence and assess competitive pressures to develop and modify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives to sponsor card programs.
      • Expand to additional partner locations while continuing existing in park growth.
      • Extensive in market travel with team – 40-50%, overnight and some weekends as needed.
      • Communicate with all applicable stakeholders internally and externally.
      • Management of incentive files to internal teams.

      The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
      • 5+ years’ experience in payments industry, cobrand or private label credit cards.
      • Working on-site in customer facing role
      • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
      • Proven ability to work independently and remotely
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

      Preferred:

      • Experience leading sales efforts and/or managing people
      • Experience in region/territory management

      Physical Requirements:

      • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
      • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
      • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

      Compensation:

      Compensation range (base pay): $78,491.00-$129,509.00

      Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
