      Job Description:

      Hennepin Technical College seeks a Full Time Multimedia Design Technology instructor dedicated to excellence in career and technical education who desires to become part of an environment that values trust, integrity, pride, passion, respect, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and diversity.       Salary Range:

      $44,144.00 - $96,906.00

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Associate degree in multimedia design technology or graphic arts.
      • Four (4) full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience in multimedia design technology or graphic arts.
      • One (1) year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

      Preferred Qualification:

      • Two (2) years of teaching Television and Video Production course work at post-secondary level within the last five (5) years
      • Video production program experience to teach beginning to intermediate level video production courses.
      • Expertise in any or all of the following: Studio/Field Video production, Film and Storyboarding, Broadcast and video graphics design, multi-platform video production and delivery.
      • Experience working with HD and 4K overflows for both TV and Video
      • A reel of personal work.
      • Experience teaching and/or developing curriculum in a variety of classroom environments including in-person and online.
      • Experience with assessment of student academic competency attainment.
      • Experience with developing and maintaining curriculum currency.
      • Working knowledge of computers and software related to instructional area including Adobe Create Suites, MS Office/Google, data systems, mobile technologies, web conference tools, and social networking.
