- Work as a team to ensure the customer accomplishes its project goals within budget as we improve warfighting capability in the maritime domain
- Demonstrate knowledge of the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion
- Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Unmanned Maritime Systems
- Work with key stakeholders to review procedural documentation
- Assist with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and regular interactions with SMEs and schedulers
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
- Experience with underwater vehicle design and development
- Experience with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN
- Knowledge of power distribution, signal processing, and control systems
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Project Management Certification such as PMP Certification
- Experience with UUVs or other underwater robotics
- Experience with simulation software such as MATLAB or Simulink
- Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing
- Experience with naval operations and protocols
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and integration
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Possession of excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking an Unmanned Maritime System Electrical Engineer to support our NAVSEA customer at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Oxnard/Port Hueneme, CA.

Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees. We also offer a competitive leave package and a generous benefit plan which includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition assistance, and an employer matching 401(k) plan.
