  Job Title: Upholsterer

  We are hiring immediately for an Upholsterer.

  Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Precision Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install aircraft interior components including seats, control mechanisms, and safety equipment using power tools and precision techniques
  • Interior Fabrication & Upholstery: Trim, form, and adjust interior parts to meet exact standards, applying adhesives and working with various materials based on their characteristics
  • Pattern Cutting & Material Handling: Cut upholstery materials using hand and electric tools, interpreting patterns and making judgment calls to minimize waste and ensure accuracy
  • Silk Screening & Marking: Create and apply decals, photo foils, and silk screen markings, maintaining consistency in paint quality and coordinating with multiple departments
  • Fixture & Equipment Operation: Set up and operate engraving and silk screen equipment, manage inventory of printed items, and ensure tools are cleaned and stored properly
  • Technical Interpretation & Quality Focus: Read and interpret basic drawings and detailed instructions, making minor decisions to ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all tasks

  What you need to be successful:

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required

  • A minimum 3 months experience in upholstery, bench upholstery, or related mechanical experience is required

  • Ability to work in an environment occasionally exposed to heat, noise, solvents and dirt is needed
