About Our Program
Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. For 10 weeks, interns will share in the unique culture & perks found at our Home Office in the historic Philadelphia Navy Yard, while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. The URBN 2024 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/3 through 8/9 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
Overview:
You pay attention to detail, spend time understanding the whys and how's of data, and are a strong communicator!
Our IT Data Analyst intern is proactive, creative, and organized. Strong communication skills, being able to work concurrently on multiple projects, partnering with others, and curiosity are key in this role.
What Will You Be Doing?
· Work with the assigned team to assist with their goals and business needs
· Communicate project updates and status throughout the lifecycle of a project
· Support in analysis, modeling, and other quantitative techniques as needed to answer business questions and evaluate business issues and challenges.
What You Will Bring!
· Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong analytical skills
· Understanding of how to write SQL queries required
· Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby preferred
· Use Data Modeling, Evaluating Data Sources and knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Mart Design and Client/Server applications preferred
