      About Our Program

      Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. For 10 weeks, interns will share in the unique culture & perks found at our Home Office in the historic Philadelphia Navy Yard, while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity.       The URBN 2024 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/3 through 8/9 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

      Overview:

      You are data savvy, customer focused, and detail-oriented!

      The Marketplace Intern will work with the Marketplace Team to help manage and improve our overall vendor experience. The Marketplace program touches every aspect of the customer journey, so it is of the utmost importance that the processes within the team are airtight. The Marketplace Team works diligently to set our vendors up for the highest level of success, as their success is our success.

      What Will You Be Doing?

      · Work across the Marketplace Team, brands (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, BHLDN) & Technology Team to drive the program’s success in all areas.

      · Aid the team & vendors with functional tasks within internal systems and vendor software, such as assisting with assortment additions.

      · Work with business developers, account managers and vendors to troubleshoot hiccups.

      · Analyze performance data to proactively identify areas of opportunity internally & externally.

      · Report on business KPIs and monitor performance of site/vendor changes

      What You Will Bring!

      · Pursuing a BA/BS in business, communications, or a related field

      · Ability to use data to solve problems & recommend solutions

      · Ability and desire to learn, understand & communicate technical topics

      · Excellent verbal, written & analytical skills

      · Proactive, self-motivated, goal-oriented & multi-tasker

      · Strong problem-solving and service orientation

      · Passionate for the e-business section, previous retail/e-commerce experience a plus

      · Microsoft Tools (Excel, etc.) a plus

      Summer Internship Program Application Process:

      1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component in the application (see above), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.

      2. Complete HireVue: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a HireVue Video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.

      3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing a rolling basis.

      Applications will be open through November 3rd at 5 pm EST. You will be notified regarding the status of your application by December.
