      URSA Rigging Technicians

      Overview:

      Hiring URSA Rigging Technicians to assist in the installation of cable assemblies for Polaris. You will operate scissor lifts, forklifts, working at heights and in confined spaces to install the assemblies associated with these large capacitor banks. Seize this unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to clean energy initiatives.

      Pay: $29 per hour

      Shifts:

      ·1st Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday (Optional OT available)

      ·2nd Shift: 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday-Thursday (Optional OT available)

      Responsibilities:

      ·Operate various scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.

      ·Install assemblies into generators.

      ·Perform quality checks.

      ·Read and follow technical instructions and drawings.

      Requirements:

      ·Experience using various types of hand tools including torque wrenches and various types and sizes of fasteners

      ·Operating a forklift, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms such as scissor and boom lifts and on occasion crane operation

      ·Working at height for prolonged periods of time

      ·Safely climbing stairs and ladders between 30 and 40 feet

      ·Working in confined spaces for prolonged periods of time

      ·Awareness of working in a construction environment with a large crew and heavy equipment operation

      ·Wearing required PPE at all times including safety glasses, hard hat, high visibility vest, steel toed footwear, and fall protection harness when working at height

      ·Lifting up to 35 pounds

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
