US ETF Middle Office AVP
Whippany, NJAs a Barclays US ETF Middle Office Assistant Vice President, you will provide end to end trade support for ETFs across both the execution and client facing allocation. You will be leading as the primary point of contact for the business for US ETF Create/Redeem activities across Equity and Fixed Income. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the business and IT to determine opportunities for process improvement.

What will you be doing:
• Ensuring accurate and timely trade matching and settlement of ETF and basket components
• Performing daily controls on both T0 and T1 to mitigate risk to the business and our clients, which will include exception monitoring and Front Office vs Back Office
• Leading the facilitation of manual wire payments
• Communicating with internal clients such as sales and trading as well as external clients, ETF issuers, ETF agents, and DTCC members
• Building solid working relationships with our ETF issuer and agent community to ensure there is a proactive synergy between industry led initiatives and business driven trading goals
• Reviewing trade flows, trade capture metrics, and remediation metrics with the goal of strategic enhancements to mitigate risk and offer scalable solutionsWhat we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working at an investment bank, ETF custodian, ETF issuer, or fund that offers product exposure and a fast paced environment
• Experience in a middle office trade support role with exposure to reconciliations and controls both on T0 and T1
• Solid experience with Fixed Income and Equity ETFs for both secondary trading and Create/RedeemsSkills that will help you in the role:
• Enthusiastic, excited to learn and driven and have a great desire to succeed
• Experience in the middle office or trade support roles support listed equities, ETFs, and fixed income securities
• Competence and knowledge of ETF Create/Redeem settlement inclusive of CNS, free of payment, DVP, and collateral paymentsWhere will you be working?
