Job Title - Master Data Specialist
Pat : $45/hr
POSITION SUMMARY
The Material Master Data Specialist will support all aspects of the Material Master
process for the Group’s Electronic business.
Nature and Scope
The Material Master Data Specialist is a global role supporting the Electronics Materials
business. The incumbent will be responsible for the creation of material master data, the
extension of materials and the maintenance of all SAP material masters. The scope of
work includes finished goods, raw materials and hard goods materials for both the
Materials segment as well as the Delivery Systems equipment division.
The Material Master Data Specialist must have a very thorough understanding of SAP
data structures, tools, and the work processes that will be used to create, extend, and
maintain material masters for the Electronics Materials business globally. This role will
require a strong process orientation and will work closely with various business and
functional groups in multiple geographies to execute the material master processes in
accordance with the material master Service Level Agreements.
The candidate should have at least 5 years of master data, IT or supply chain
experience. In addition, the candidate should have experience with SAP and a basic
understanding of the SAP data structures. APICS certifications (CPIM or CSCP) would
be beneficial. SAP certifications would also be desirable.
The candidate should ideally hold a Bachelor or Associate degree. He or she should
possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English additional
languages would also be a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a thorough
understanding or ability to learn the work processes and systems that are used to
create / extend / maintain material master data in SAP and or K2, MDGM, LAW.About the company
