      Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a significant impact in the Biopharmaceuticals industry? We are seeking a US Medical Head for our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine your clinical and scientific expertise with a passion for transforming healthcare and improving the lives of patients.

      Accountabilities:

      As the US Medical Head, you will lead the Core Medical Teams (CMT) and co-lead the US Brand team with the Commercial Brand Leader. You will be accountable for the brand medical strategy and the creation and delivery of the brand medical plan. Additionally, you will be accountable for an appropriate development budget and resource requirements to support the development needs for the brand. You will also manage and develop direct reports and deployed resources including brand Medical Directors, Field Physicians, and Directors of Medical Affairs (as appropriate). Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with all AZ corporate policies, developing and maintaining relationships with key external and internal customers, and leading development of an Advisory Board strategy.

      Essential Skills/Experience:

      • Graduate of a recognized medical school and recipient of an M.D. or D.O. degree.

      • Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical/medical industry

      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

      • Excellent organizational skills and leadership ability.

      • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.

      • Strong business acumen, including working knowledge of changing U.S. payer and provider landscape

      • Proven ability to interact productively with both commercial and scientific colleagues

      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams

      • Familiarity with OPDP, PhRMA code, and key regulations in the pharmaceutical industry

      • Highest level of ethics and integrity

      • Live in the continental US, with authorization to work in the United States
