What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Cover the majors and select emerging markets currencies
- Write short, intra-day market updates in bulleted format
- Generate original analysis for well-argued, forward-looking commentaries about market direction
- Develop compelling charts to tell market stories
- Build a strong network of market sources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Seven years trading, strategy, or research experience in the FX market
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced skills in technical and fundamental analysis
- Deep knowledge of markets, macroeconomics, and policymaking
- Ability to work independently in a real-time news environment
