- Coordinating with stakeholders to drive effective implementation of fire safety related initiatives.
- Building new fire and life safety programs.
- Managing fire system and fire code related projects.
- Partnering with stores to mitigate fire code related concerns.
- Supporting Facilities Services with their efforts to resolve fire code deficiencies.
- Developing data analytics that drive continuous improvement.
- You’re a subject matter expert in fire code or fire safety.
- You are a fire protection or mechanical engineer.
- You have significant project or construction management experience.
- You have a risk management related mindset that balances business needs and urgency when managing fire initiatives.
- You have strong communication skills and are effective at simplifying technical issues.
- You have experience working in cross-functional teams.
- You possess a degree in a fire related field or have equivalent regulatory experience as a fire marshal or fire inspector.

What you'll do...
Join the U.S. EH&S Fire Code Team to support fire code related inspections and build fire safety programs for the world’s largest retailer. This role is critical as we continue to develop strategies for a first-class compliance program that effectively mitigates fire and regulatory risk in our retail business. You will support business partners in assessing risk, building corresponding controls, developing training and awareness programs, and assisting our design and engineering teams.
