What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively engage students through frequent interaction and motivate them to succeed.
- Guide students in collaborative learning and the application of their knowledge in practical projects.
- Provide regular constructive feedback on student work and acknowledge their accomplishments.
- Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and help students integrate concepts across their academic program.
- Offer feedback to the program chair on potential curricular improvements.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Human–Computer Interaction, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in cross-platform application development using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Flutter).
- Experience applying accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 Level AA) and implementing software testing practices.
- Familiarity with usability testing methods, user research practices, and design documentation.
- Ability to mentor and assess graduate-level software engineering projects.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry experience in user interface design, accessibility engineering, or full-stack development.
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and development tools (e.g., Figma AI, Copilot).
