      The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.

      The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill part-time positions as ushers at Moody Performance Hall and the Majestic Theatre.

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greeting patrons, facilitating direction throughout the venue, acting as safety representatives, taking tickets, assisting with seating, passing out programs, and demonstrating general knowledge of the facility.

      Ushers will anticipate patron needs, address concerns and incidents, and provide concise information to management per event.

      Qualified applicants must have a high school education and be able to interact with the public in a pleasant manner and be able to follow directions given both verbally and in writing.

      Work schedules for these positions average 10-20 hours per pay period and WILL VARY according to event calendars and venue needs.

      Schedules will include night, weekend, holiday, and some daytime shifts.
