- Creates and implements strategies to increase successful and timely collections of customer accounts.
- Liaises with customers and maintains customer relationships.
- Analyzes AR aging data and communicates results to Senior Leadership; including making recommendations to management regarding bad debt reserves
- Creates training materials to improve accounts receivable, collections and billing functions.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- A minimum of 5-7 of relevant experience in collections and credit.
- Previous experience working in a leadership role or a management position
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of MS Office.
- Quick learner, including new technology platforms and accounting systems
- Ability to work in a high-volume work environment with great attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Reporting to the Corporate Controller this remote position is responsible for participating in leading and overseeing the Collections Team, coordinating Regional Collection efforts, overseeing Accounts Receivable and leading special projects and initiatives to improve working capital through accounts receivable. This role also creates presentation material to report on collections activity to various audiences including CEO/CFO, Board presentations, and Lender presentations. The candidate will create or improve processes and systems to ensure continuous improvement of DSO and timely collections of customer accounts.
