What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support ASC coders and coding compliance teams with monitoring, auditing, and training
- Analyze enterprise audit results to identify risk areas and coding education focus
- Address coding questions from teams and facilities using authoritative coding references
- Assist managed care and revenue cycle departments with field requests
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of ASC coding experience
- Knowledge of AMA, CMS, and CPT coding guidelines
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
