What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to ASC coders, hospital coders, and coding compliance teams through auditing, training, and monitoring
- Analyze enterprise audit results to identify risk areas and focus on coder education
- Address coding inquiries from coding teams and facilities by researching authoritative coding references
- Assist with requests from managed care and revenue cycle departments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of ASC coding experience
- Knowledge of AMA, CMS, and CPT coding guidelines
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, and anatomy & physiology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Coding experience
