      Utilities Engineer- Williamsport

      Arxada is looking for a Utilities Engineer to join its team of skilled engineers at our Williamsport, PA manufacturing site. This role is onsite and requires a hands on individual that can do field work as well as work on capital projects.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Lead the plant-wide effort to reduce overall energy usage.
      • Supervise the operation of wastewater treatment and plant utilities (steam boilers, compressed air, cooling water, & fire water).
      • Perform capital project management from conception to completion.
      • Manage outside contractors for projects within the utilities department.
      • Lead liaison with Williamsport Sanitary Authority regarding water quality.
      • Drive maintenance and operations cross-functionality in utility and pollution control areas to maximize plant efficiencies through innovative energy conservation and waste reduction techniques.
      • Ensure all systems meet safety and environmental compliance parameters.
      • Complete Safe Work Permits and LOTO within department as needed.
      • Enter Purchase Requisitions and Work Notifications through SAP as needed.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.
      • Hands-on field work required

      Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelors degree, Mechanical or Electrical preferred or 7 years experience with utilities
      • At a minimum this candidate must have 2-3 years experience in manufacturing
      • Boiler systems/Wastewater Treatment experience highly preferred
      • Project Management experience a plus
