      Ledcor is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Utility Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support heavy civil construction projects by operating a variety of equipment and performing general labor tasks. You will work closely with site supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.       Essential Responsibilities:

      • Operate a variety of heavy equipment including skid steers, loaders, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner

      • Perform routine maintenance checks and report equipment issues promptly

      • Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, and backfilling as required

      • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety on the job site

      • Support other crew members with general labor tasks as needed

      Qualifications:

      • Two or more years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or heavy civil environment

      • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

      • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.

      • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

      Work Conditions:

      • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)

      • This is a site-based position that will require travel
