- Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and building
- Work in a fast-paced environment to complete various processes including assisting with farmer stock drying, bail-out, truck loading/unloading, weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, and storing products and sanitizing around facility (sweeping, compressed air cleaning)
- Maintain ongoing pest control operations and monitoring
- Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
- Communicate with team/shift employees concerning proper operation of equipment, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
- Operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for bulk materials including trucks and/or rail cars, forklift, skid-steer, front-end loaders, utilizing scales, pumps, conveyor, semi-automatic packing system, etc.
- Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required in regard to safety, sanitation, maintenance, and processing equipment operation
- Understand and adhere to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality and goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in production and/or similar military environment (preferred)
- A positive attitude and team mindset
- A desire to learn various operations and grow with the company
- Focus on Safety- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture: to understand and follow all company safety procedure and use of PPE
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
- The ability to lift 50lbs
- A high school diploma or GED
- That you are at least 18 years of age or older
- The ability to work 8/12 hour rotating shift that includes days and nights, some weekends and holidays
- That you maintain excellent attendance (being on time, working when scheduled, staying until your shift ends)
- Demonstrates the ability to be observant and to address concerns that may arise
- Experience with operating a forklift is a plus (not required)
- Mechanical Aptitude is a plus (not required)
- The ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders

Golden Peanut in Blakley GA is seeking a reliable Utility Tech that is willing to grow and advance with the company.
This is a full-time, hourly W2 position.
Schedule: Rotating 8/12 hours shift. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed.
Pay: $14.50 hourly and an additional $1.00 shift differential when on nights

Summary
This is an entry-level position in our Golden Peanut and Tree Nuts plant. You will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance. Production specialists are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned including intense cleaning and sanitizing, and packaging products.

REF:99683BRBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:$14.50 plus $1.50 SD
