      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide support to the Senior Care Services/PACE department, ensuring timely referral and authorization processing per state and federal guidelines
      - Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with leadership when problems arise
      - Ensure compliance with pre-authorizations and reimbursement regulations pertaining to Medi-Cal, CCS, and other government programs
      - Assist in managing authorization referrals within utilization management
      - Maintain documentation and records in accordance with organizational standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent required
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical billing environment, preferably with pre-authorizations and reimbursement regulations
      - Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare specialty call center
      - Experience in utilization management processing authorization referrals is preferred
      - MA or Medical Billing Certificate preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of Medi-Cal, CCS, and other government programs
      - Additional experience in an IPA or HMO setting
      - Strong communication and problem-solving skills
      - Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
