What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize clinical skills to coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
- Consult and provide expertise to internal and external stakeholders in the management of utilization/benefit functions
- Gather clinical information and apply medical necessity criteria to render coverage determinations and recommendations
- Collaborate with providers to facilitate optimal care and treatment for members
- Identify members who may benefit from care management programs and facilitate referrals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of clinical practice experience in an inpatient setting
- 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Active current and unrestricted LA or compact state licensure
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Managed care or utilization review experience
- Discharge planning experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
