Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT) is on a mission to revolutionize the employee benefits experience. We're seeking a customer-obsessed Benefits Content Strategist to join us in building unparalleled solutions that support the health, wealth, and wellbeing of our global workforce.
Key job responsibilities
- Write and edit compelling messaging for new benefits features, including product descriptions, regulatory notifications, navigation, and tooltips
- Creates, publishes, and maintains headless content in an enterprise content management system.
- Leads content projects with multiple stakeholders across teams to launch, promote, or educate employees about benefits and other resources
- Anticipate user needs to craft concise, actionable copy for complex concepts and desired actions
- Collaborate closely with product and UX teams to align content across the user experience
- Leverage data and user feedback to guide impactful content recommendations
- Influence content strategy through thoughtful discussions with key stakeholders
- Continuously optimize content based on user feedback and performance metrics
- Establish and maintain a tone of voice aligned with the Amazon brand, tailored to employees
- Ensure all product content aligns with brand, legal, and accessibility requirements
A day in the life
In this role, you will craft content that guides employees as they discover, enroll in, and manage their benefits. Working alongside product designers, researchers, and benefits managers, you will develop and execute a user focused content strategy that helps employees navigate the product, understand their available options, take necessary actions, and resolve issues. You will manage the lifecycle of important employee benefits content. Additionally, you will refine a global content strategy based on user research and A/B testing to optimize the overall user experience.

Whether it's accessing medical care, starting a family, or planning for retirement, we're redefining the status quo through a personalized mobile and web-based product that anticipates employee needs, surfaces relevant information and actions, and empowers Amazonians to maximize the value of their comprehensive benefits.- 8+ years writing experience in roles like public relations, communications, or technical writing
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical or functional content into engaging, user-friendly material
- Experience writing Content for complex products
- Proven track record of delivering content projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional copywriting and editing skills- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX Design, or related field
- Experience writing UX content
- Experience crafting simple, clear, and concise instructions to guide users through user flows
- Working knowledge of user experience design principles
- Familiarity with structured authoring environments
- Writing experience in the US healthcare or employee benefits sectors
