      Department Overview

      Our cross-functional Design & Customer Experience team consists of Industrial Design, UI/UX Design, User Research, and Human Factors practitioners who design for diverse and challenging markets. Each of these core capabilities contributes within a user-centered design process to leverage our advanced wireless communications, cloud & mobile applications, video, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to envision a new generation of life-changing – and life-saving – products, applications and services. We are user-focused and outcome-driven, identifying problems and creating solutions based on research and engagement with our customers.


      Job Description

      This UX Design Co-op offers you the opportunity to work with a small, highly collaborative team leveraging human-centered design principles and user-research methodologies to create and maintain innovative design solutions.

      As a UX Design Co-op on the Customer Experience Design team you will….
      • Work in a close-knit team envisioning the future, designing end to end solutions for our enterprise customers across diverse industries, including Hospitality, Retail, School, Manufacturing and Utility.
      • Use design thinking to understand people's needs, looking holistically at customer interactions, and constantly iterate user journey forward.
      • Collaborate closely with product owners/managers/researchers to find opportunities for new products/features and validate assumptions through user testing and research.
      • Be an integral part of a growing team that is involved in strategic and innovative projects that will lead the company's vision.

      • Ability to tell a compelling story visually and verbally with a clear point of view
      • Proficiency in Adobe CC, Figma and other industry standard wireframing and prototyping tools.
      Program Specifics:
      • Program length - The approximate dates of this Co-op are January 2024 through May 2024.
      • Working hours - Preferably 40 hour per week. Less than 40 will still be considered.
      The base salary range for this co-op is: $21,800- $87,800


      Basic Requirements

      • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree with a major in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Services Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction or other related disciplines.
      • Must provide a link to a portfolio or digital examples of your work when applying.
