      Job Title: User Experience Designer (UX)

      Location: Atlanta, GA / Remote

      Position Description

      We are looking for a talented UX Designer to help us turn our strategies into a reality. Your design skills can make an impact, helping developers build better code and deliver focused products. If you’re passionate about building world-class product and working with great people, you’ll fit right in.

      Critical Skills

      • An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem solving and system modelling, through to detailed UI, visual, and interaction design.

      • Ability to create wireframes using modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.

      • Have a research first mindset where understand users’ needs thought research is a baseline.

      • Experience with Qualitative UX research to answer questions and understand the motivations, thoughts, and attitudes of a target audience.

      • Strong communication skills to help people teams understand the rationale behind your proposals and the complex nuances of design problems.

      • Drive innovation through concepts and articulate ideas through wireframes and prototypes.
      • Working knowledge and experience creating/using a design system.

      • Prior experience of user-centered design and best practices, such as usability testing.

      • Experience designing digital products and systems, not just websites.

      • Have fun! – contribute towards a productive yet fun team environment

      Experience should ideally focus on designing software products. Your portfolio should clearly outline the problems you’ve taken on with your design work. It should touch on the process you applied to find solutions and overcome challenges, rather than focusing just on visual polish, or the final deliverables.

      Additional Knowledge & Skills

      • Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of disciplines ranging from software development teams, marketing and brand.
      • Working knowledge of Service Design practices.
      • A history of designing products for healthcare and ecommerce.
      • Experience of Information Architecture and UX writing.
      • Data analytics and quantitative research methods.

      Minimum Requirements
      4+ years’ experience as a User Experience Designer or Product Designer. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is also required.

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $91,900 - $153,100
