- Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points through methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Analyze research data to create user personas, journey maps, and scenarios that inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and user flows.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that align with branding guidelines and business objectives.
- Develop responsive designs optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet user needs and technical feasibility.
- Present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders to iterate and refine designs.
- Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and ensure designs provide an optimal user experience.
- Incorporate feedback from testing into iterative design updates.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in UX/UI design (e.g., Google UX Design Certificate) are a big plus.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
- Design Expertise:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience with prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- User Experience:
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Ability to create intuitive user flows and interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to understand user behavior.
- Experience designing for enterprise platforms or SaaS products.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design ideas and rationale.
