What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct user research using interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observational studies to understand user goals and behaviors
- Identify and recruit participants for user studies based on target user profiles
- Design and moderate remote and in-person user research sessions, analyzing findings for actionable insights
- Create communication artifacts such as summaries, personas, and reports to present research findings
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate user research into product specifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to receive DHS EOD suitability
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research, especially with API developers/engineers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a high-speed, delivery-focused environment
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with research tools and software
- Passion for understanding users and advocating for their needs
