Job Purpose:
· Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the incumbent oversees the Valet lobby area to ensure that our guest is greeted with expected levels of customer service when performing their job duties.
Qualifications:
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.
· Must possess a well-developed tactful problem-solving skills with the ability to apply ingenuity and creativity.
· Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with front-line staff members and guests.
· Must possess the ability to operate BOTH manual as well as automatic transmission automobiles.
License Requirements:
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Must be licensed by DBR
Essential Job Functions:
· Must adhere to all Twin River Policies and Procedures.
· Ensures that departmental and company policies and procedures are observed to provide the highest level of Guest service possible.
· Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
· Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
· Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned.
· Exercises excellent guest relations skills, including handling difficult guest situations.
· Helps maintain cleanliness or the Valet area whenever necessary and as time permits.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
· The employee is routinely required to stand, walk, and bend into and out of vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift and in ALL types of weather.
· The employee may be routinely required to lift and/or team lift wheelchairs or electric scooters into and out of vehicles for guests.
