      Value Management Office (VMO) Transformation Manager

      Permanent

      Location: Edinburgh (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)

      Salary: A competitive salary from £56,480 – £84,720, depending on the experience you can bring

      Here at Aegon UK, we are on the lookout for a VMO Transformation Manager to join our Transformation and Change function. As our VMO Transformation Manager you will work directly with the Director of Transformation to ensure that the overall VMO delivery performance, operational readiness and planned outcomes are stable, predictable and transparent.

      As a key part of the ongoing development of the Aegon UK Transformation strategy, you will be expected to provide critical support for both the Director of Transformation and the Chief Transformation Officer. You will also be accountable for ensuring that there is an appropriate and effective data strategy in place to continually develop the Aegon UK Investment Portfolio MI capability.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Working in partnership with all teams across the Transformation and Change team to provide thought leadership, drive definition of strategic direction and coordinate Senior Leadership team input for resolution and operationalisation of the Business Readiness approach

      • Leading and influencing key senior stakeholders across the wider Aegon UK organisation to ensure that Business Readiness is successfully guided, managed and coordinated for all portfolio initiatives

      • Driving the development and implementation of a comprehensive structure and process to create a Delivery Assurance capability

      We’d love to hear from you if you have:

      • Significant prior experience in leading transformation delivery

      • Demonstratable experience of driving digital delivery activities in a complex environment

      • Knowledge of VMO and Enterprise PMO methodologies and how they interlink

      • Proven ability to support development of a strategy as well as execute the tactical implication of that strategy

      • Comfortable with agile delivery methodologies and execution

      • Knowledge of leading technologies, business models and customer expectations

      • Experience of engaging executive level stakeholders to educate and explore digital transformation opportunities

      • Strong leadership skills and experience of leading and developing highly talented teams with an ability to motivate and mentor others
