Van Wickle Auto Supply is a family-owned group of NAPA Auto Parts stores with 3 locations in Spring Lake Heights, Point Pleasant, and Bricktown NJ. We have been providing great service and parts in the area since 1967 and have been an independent jobber with NAPA for the entire time. We have grown over the years and are looking for some excellent people to help us continue that growth.

Job Description

Our Auto Parts Delivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customer service and developing long standing relationships with our customers. Our stores are open 7 days a week. We sell auto parts and accessories such as batteries, chemicals, headlights, etc. which can weigh anywhere from a few ounces to 65 pounds and may be as small as a light bulb to as big as a radiator. Familiarity with tablets and computers is a must as we use electronic devices to make our deliveries and we train with training modules via the computer. Primary Responsibilities

Our Auto Parts Delivery Drivers are important members of the store team, and are responsible for:

• Completing deliveries using our computerized delivery system,

• Accurately verifying the auto parts you take match the customer's order,

• Delivering your orders in a timely and accurate manner,

• Unloading the orders and confirming that the correct auto parts are delivered as ordered,

• Collecting payments (cash and checks) from customers as needed and verifying what you collected is correct,

• Collecting returns from customers and writing what you collect neatly and accurately on the return forms - you must write legibly,

• Operating the delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashion,

• Completing a daily vehicle inspection report and keeping your vehicle clean and in good general repair,

• Maintaining a professional attitude, conduct and appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older,

• Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record; no special Driver License required,

• Must be able to work in all business types and all counties of New Jersey,

• Must know Ocean and Monmouth County areas well,

• Must be able to lift and carry 65 pounds for short distances,

• Be able to use an android tablet and operate a 2-way radio,

• Work well under pressure and follow directions,

• We perform background and driving record checks.
