Job Description
- Req#: 893
- Corporate & Traded Credit: Investments in opportunistic and dislocated traded credit, as well as restructurings and liquidations in corporate, structured product, sovereign, and other credit instruments and related assets.
- Real Estate Credit & Assets: Debt and equity investments related to commercial and residential real estate in public markets as well as private credit and asset - level investments in segments such as transportation and infrastructure.
- Financial Services: Investments across the capital structure in consumer finance, commercial finance, and other areas related to financial services, including private credit lending, loan portfolio purchases, and private equity.

The VRP supports Värde’s mission to build a strong entry-level pipeline of talent with cross-functional knowledge and experience. Analysts rotate through various parts of the business, with their first year focused on business functions and the second year on investing functions , both of which a re key to Värde’s business operations. Analysts in the program will strengthen their skills through concentrated work in the areas of investing, sales and marketing, data analytics and beyond.

In addition to meaningful rotations, analysts attend week-long learning and development sessions, including but not limited to leadership development, presentation skills, effective communication training and management skills. The learning possibilities are limitless and are a reflection of our commitment to continuous learning and developing talent. Individualized mentorship is a key component of the program. Analysts are matched with a senior leader who provides ongoing development and leadership insights. In addition, opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and informal mentorship are endless. Internal and external networking and exposure to senior leadership is embedded in every part of the program. Graduates of the program have a network and support system that will follow them throughout their career.

Currently enrolled in a college or university and working towards a bachelor’s degree

Current Seniors (graduating in December 2024 or May 2025 )

GPA of 3.2 or above preferred

A combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation and advanced written and oral communications skills

Business experience through internships or part-time work preferred but not required

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Possess characteristics that include resourcefulness, solid problem resolution skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a variety of relationships and situations
