- Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities
- Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this positon
- Properly cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in the handling, processing, packaging, and storing of all products, raw, and pasteurized
- Covering all electrical panels when cleaning around them
- Cleaning the exterior of all palletizers, lines, floors, walls and ceiling on a daily basis
- Reporting any unsafe areas or accidents to a supervisor immediately
- Checking chemical titration strengths daily and notes results on a daily basis
- Reporting any equipment failures or other problems to supervisor preparing maintenance work orders as needed
- Cleaning Vault Pit area weekly and inspecting sprinkler system in Vault Pit area
- Filling out all Sanitation documentation with complete and accurate information as required by Company, State, and Federal rules and regulations
- Maintaining appropriate dress and personal appearance standards. Knowing, understanding and adhering to all company policies and procedures, including GMP's
- Promoting and maintaining company goodwill in all areas. Assisting others and performing other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary
- Helping maintain the positive image of the company in the trade
- Wearing proper safety equipment: rubber gloves, safety glasses or face mask and apron
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than one year experience in production preferably in a manufacturing/food processing environment with a transportation division
- Demonstrate good judgment, and problem solving and decision making skills as well as being an organized
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively with coworkers and management
- Able to work all shifts and days

Hourly Rate: $22.29 - $24.77
