VDI Engineer

Key Role:

Assume responsibility for developing, maintaining, upgrading, patching, and securing Microsoft Windows desktop environments in multiple Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. Operate and maintain Citrix infrastructure, such as PVS, DDC, or StoreFront servers within DoD environments. Prepare master Operating System images for deployment and effectively work with colleagues to drive innovation and communicate capabilities to fellow team members, colleagues, management, and customer leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience managing Citrix and Horizon solutions

• Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop Operating Systems

• Knowledge of DoD IA Cybersecurity and IT regulations and
  guidance

• Top Secret clearance

• Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience with VDI, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with VDI

• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) certification

• IAW DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in PowerShell scripting

• Experience in the evaluation and integration of new
  technologies into existing environments

• Experience troubleshooting complex IT issues

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
