- Perform circuit patrols per VM plan and standards.
- Identify and prescribe tree work; document inspections.
- Notify property owners and obtain necessary permissions for tree work.
- Support emergency responses and perform work verification inspections.
- Manage VM tags, assist in outage investigations, and support vegetation projects.
- Ensure compliance with permits and environmental regulations.
- Maintain electronic documentation and reporting proficiency.
- Patrol circuits, prescribe work, and ensure compliance.
- Assess hazards and determine necessary tree work.
- Manage notifications, perform outage investigations, and document work.
- Support emergency responses and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Operate vehicles and forestry equipment.
- Work on uneven ground and in various weather conditions.
- Use safety gear and tools like clinometers, range finders, and safety equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class C driver's license.
- Active TRAQ Certification.
- Residence within 50 miles of San Carlos, CA.
- Tree identification and growth knowledge.
- Ability to use software and maps.
- Work in rugged terrain and adverse weather.
- Strong communication, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Base Salary: $39.27/hr + $9.82/hr in lieu of benefits, totaling $49.09/hr
- FLSA: Non-Exempt

This full-time role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, biology, environmental studies, conservation, or related fields, seeking field experience.
Responsibilities include patrolling hazard trees, inspecting and evaluating trees along utility lines, submitting inspection reports, coordinating with tree crews, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Note: This position is safety-sensitive.
Residency: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of San Carlos, CA, or be willing to relocate.
