- 40% Research/address escalated items completely & timely. Resolution may require detailed research, analysis &/or collaboration w/various internal Home Depot business or IT teams. Escalate defect fix or enhancement needs as they are identified.
- 20% Proactively engage vendors to improve compliance performance via emails, phone calls or meetings.
- 20% Work with data to analyze vendor compliance and provide recommendations and solutions to potential gaps.
- 20% Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects related to compliance processes or system enhancements.
- Reports to a Manager or Sr Manager.
- This position has no direct reports.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Access

Position Purpose:The primary purpose of the Vendor Compliance Analyst is to support The Home Depot Compliance Program. The Vendor Compliance Analyst is expected to be a SME on the Compliance Program and is responsible for analyzing compliance performance, identifying problems, manipulating data to drive conclusions, and develop recommendations that support and enhance the compliance program. Key components of the role are as follows:
- Responsible for the daily activities and reporting specifics to their departments - the Compliance Analyst will be the direct contact for IPR and Merchandising regarding vendor performance - Proactively engage vendors who are lacking in specific performance areas and provide best practices and get-well strategies as well as track for improvement - Work cross-functionally with many different business partners and IT to develop requirements, implement changes and execute on change management - Possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop solutions using quantitative skills - Deal with large, complex data sets to drive conclusions and make recommendations as well as streamline technical processes - Complete projects to optimize the compliance program accurately within the defined timeframe, ability to self-start with appropriate direction from Manager
