      Accountable for the strategic sourcing life cycle for Tier 1 suppliers, including spend analytics, market & demand analysis, supplier evaluation and selection, negotiations, contracting, supplier risk, performance management, and relationship management in compliance with corporate policies. Develop department relationships with category owners and management, fosters awareness and education of procurement best practices, develops knowledge of the business unit`s operations and vendor requirements, and influences vendor strategies. Build a sourcing project portfolio based on established category strategies to enable your team to achieve its objectives. Be a project manager for the entire sourcing event utilizing the expertise of other roles in the organization. You will report to Sr Manager, Vendor Management.

      Compensation Minimum:$60,000 / year

      Compensation Maximum:$99,000 / year

      Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.

      Job Description

      Level Summary

      • Requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Procurement, and Vendor Management specifically managing visible, complex, and strategic supplier relationships.

      • You may lead teams or projects.

      Primary Accountabilities

      • Develop senior business leader relationships with assigned departments to identify and influence sourcing and vendor management opportunities to support business objectives.

      • Present proposed supplier strategies to business partners and sponsors, obtains approvals and aligns sponsorship and resources needed to move project into active execution.

      • Lead teams to successful outcomes ensuring value is quantified, optimized, and realized.

      • Be the primary contact between us and Tier 1 suppliers, defines strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the relationship, mitigate risk, create enhanced value, 1assure identification and resolution of performance issues and compliance with contract requirements through regular business and executive reviews. Align short and long-term needs of partners to our vendor capabilities, driving consolidations for scale, mandating innovations and ensuring vendor roadmaps align to business objectives.

      • Lead the entire sourcing process for Tier 1 suppliers including supplier selection (RFx), negotiations, establishing contract terms and conditions, facilitating contract renewals, by applying project and change management best practices (e.g. scope, deliverables, timeline, communication, risk mitigation) to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes aligned with business objectives.

      • Identify opportunities for process improvements and improved services for partners.

      • Use knowledge of your departments operations, spend analytics, market intelligence, internal demand and defined sourcing objectives to help evaluate complex competitive offerings and determine best overall offer for a product or service.

      Specialized Skills Requirements

      • Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions or support.

      • Knowledge of strategic sourcing practices including spend analytics, market intelligence, RFx execution, and contract negotiation.

      • Knowledge of vendor management practices including performance management and relationship management techniques.

      • Demonstrated experience leading large projects.

      • Experience applying contract negotiation techniques.

      • Knowledge of goods and services contract terms.

      • Solid knowledge of preparing reports, charts and presentations.

      • Demonstrated experience in consulting, guiding strategic decisions, and using data.
