Overhead Crane Operator

Location: Louisville, KY

Shift: 1st & 3rd Shift

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Operator to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to move, lift, and position heavy materials in an industrial setting. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes to transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cranes daily to ensure proper functionality and report any maintenance needs.
• Secure loads and verify weight limits to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and material movements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of crane safety procedures and load capacity limits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Should be comfortable to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Schedule & Compensation:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Competitive pay ranging from $18-$20 per hour, based on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
