      VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

      Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 days a week.

      • We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

      Compensation: Pay range is based on relevant education, licensure (vet tech license required), skills, and experience.

      About the Role

      Whether you are a Licensed Veterinary Technician or recent Veterinary Technician graduate, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

      • Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.
      • Venipuncture and IVC placement
      • Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
      • Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
      • Recognize subtle change in clinical status.
      • Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.
      • Complete estimates, basic record keeping.
      • Surgical preparation and assisting.
      • Anesthesia monitoring.
      • Dentistry and dental radiographs.
