- Assists leadership teams with strategy development, strategic planning, and financial and labor planning.
- Acts as an extension to senior leadership and assists with strategic prioritization across a variety of topics, stakeholders and external partners.
- Contributes to the development of, and provides leverage by ranking, competing priorities and creating decision-making frameworks.
- Takes part in selective leadership and strategy meetings and coordinate follow-ups and next steps.
- Works closely with all business units and functions to align operations with strategy.
- Identifies opportunities within the organization where processes can be streamlined, automated, or improved.
- Maneuvers through appropriate formal and informal organization channels, influencing across all levels of the organization and across divisions.
- Provides oversight to high-level projects and initiatives, particularly focused on the execution of the leadership's key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinates and monitors high-value ad-hoc projects.
- Plans, tracks and monitors the progress of key priorities and strategic initiatives for the leadership team.
- Manages critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the ability to effectively execute on top priorities.
- Manages communications on behalf the leadership team.
- Prepares documents for internal and external audiences - including highly compelling presentations for company-wide meetings and external speaking engagements.
- Drives departmental efficiencies through increased communication across the leadership team and other stakeholders.
- Structures, prepares for and coordinates follow-ups for all leadership team meetings.
- Prepares communication and research including, but not limited to, company updates, presentations , content, slide decks, messages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in business, communications or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. 10+ years experience in communications, strategy, change management or project management required. Prior experience in healthcare or large-scale service industry required. Experience supporting executive level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration required.
Pay Range: $178,500.00 - $338,800.00 per year
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate complex issues. Ability to prioritize, lead discussions and coordinate projects and deliverables with executive presence while maintaining a sense of humility. Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to take initiative and critically analyze processes and translate findings for executives required.Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
