      The Marketing Analytics team within Consumer Bank Data & Analytics division is responsible for measuring the effectiveness and promoting the strategy of Chase’s Consumer Bank marketing campaigns. The results and learnings from these analyses, which seek to quantify both statistical and practical significance, are used to promote future campaigns and to optimize Chase’s multimillion dollar marketing spend. This role is focused on analyzing performance and informing optimal strategy for marketing campaigns for newly onboarded and tenured customers that promote long-term account engagement, relationship deepening, and customer retention for the Consumer Bank.


      As a Vice President Data Scientist Marketing Analytics within the Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of promoting our marketing strategy. You will have the opportunity to analyze performance and inform optimal strategies for marketing campaigns, mentor junior data scientists, and lead innovation projects.       Job Responsibilities

      • Own the analytics strategy, planning, and execution for Onboarding & Engagement marketing campaigns.
      • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists across Marketing Analytics organization.
      • Consult on experimental design, data collection, and develop new strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
      • Interpret results and present to stakeholders and senior management.
      • Continuously lead innovation projects to drive more advanced analytics.
      • Recruit and train talented data professionals from diverse backgrounds.
      • Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate and timely results.

      Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

      • 5+ years of experience in applying statistical methods to real-world problems including experience with SQL.
      • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related fields).
      • Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation
      • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.).
      • Superior written, oral communication, and presentation skills with experience communicating concisely and effectively with all levels of management and partners.
      • A highly independent leader with a growth mindset.
      • Intellectually curious and eager to learn new things with an eye towards innovation.
      • A strategic thinker and the ability to focus on business goals. Excellent at solving unstructured problems independently.
      • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
      • Exceptional communicator and able to build relationships with key stakeholders.

      Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

      • Marketing analytics experience preferred.
      • Python preferred.
      • Tableau preferred.
