      Role:

      The Vice President of GTM Analytics at Thomson Reuters leads the advanced analytics team with a specific focus on growing the business , improving customer intimacy and driving operational efficiencies using advanced analytics and customer data . S/he will be the key business partner to our field sales organization and reports to the Head of Commercial Excellence. The ideal candidate for this role is expected to have outstanding analytical , leadership , communication and problem-solving skills and will be measured on the business value created by the analytics team . This candidate will be data-drive n , self-motivated, sales infrastructure savvy, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail-oriented, and ab l e to move quickly wh i le staying focused on high impact projects.

      Responsibilities :

      The role will oversee a team of 3 0 data analytics professionals (Data S cientists , Data Engineers and Business Ana lysts) in the US and India with responsibilities that include:

      • Predictive analytics for customer acquisition (Cross-Sell, Up-Sell) and customer retention

      • Acquisition of net new customers using third party and first party data and lead scoring

      • Whitespace and Total Addressable Market Analysis

      • Deployment of Sales motions leveraging signals from P roduct Usage data

      • Analysis of the Customer Journey and identification of opportunity and risk signals from customer activity

      • Use of AI to a ssist with Selling and Re newals

      • Data pipeline build and Data Engineering

      • Integration of analytics tools with in salesforce.com

      • Business Analysis , as required , to provide insights into market conditions, product engagement and market growth opportunities by specific segments

      • Establish a data stewardship program for GTM Analytics to drive data quality initiatives.

      To be successful in this role, the analytics leader must be able to do the following:

      • Develop the strategic vision and roadmap for GTM Analytics

      • Develop /enhance a strategic annual roadmap of analytics projects for each of the business units in partnership with the Head of Data and Analytics

      • Interface with senior business leaders in a consultative and advisory capacity and advise on the appropriate analytics initiatives for the business unit

      • Articulate a vision for segment leadership through presentation, demos and discussion

      • Drive bottom - up and top-down innovation partnering with the business units and the Head of Data & A nalytics at T homson Reuters

      • Drive business value and report on it using financial metrics

      • Assess the business value of analytics projects and work with finance to articulate them in the appropriate financial metrics

      • Run a quarterly business value assessment process

      • Execute the analytics roadmap and projects in the GTM Analytics portfolio

      • Program Management for the GTM analytics progra m including project implementation, resource allocation, scope management and timeline planning

      • Assist with technical and business architecture when required and ensure consistency with enterprise standards

      • When required provide guidance on the design and development of analytics deliverables (such as Machine Learning models, dashboards etc.)

      • Assess and improve quality of analytics deliverables

      • Collaborate with the Head of Data & Analytics at T homson Reuters on shared use cases for the enterprise

      • Ensure analytics deliverables are of the highest quality

      • Run a data stewardship program for the business units

      • Identify and run data quality initiatives for the business segments

      • Run a quarterly business value assessment process to assess model performance

      • Drive adoption of GTM analytics products and services within the business units

      • Implement the appropriate change management programs to drive adoption

      • Establish relationships across Commercial Excellence, Product Marketing, Customer Markets and Finance to maximize impact

      • Provide insights into T homson Reuter ’s business and markets through data driven analysis

      • Conduct business analysis for the segments as required to support analytics for growth initiatives, market events (ex. C-19), business operations

      • Recruit, retain and grow talent

      • Work with the Head of Data & Analytics at T homson Reuters to define a framework for talent growth and career path

      Requirements:

      This role requires knowledge of the following subject matter:

      • Strong knowledge of analytics techniques (predictive modeling, machine learning , statistics )

      • Strong knowledge of data and data infrastructure

      • Knowledge of industry best practices as it relates to data management, data infrastructure , platforms and analytics with particular emphasis on the cloud

      • Knowledge of Amazon’s c loud - based data platforms and analytics services

      • Knowledge of data modeling

      • Practical experience driving adoption of analytics

      • A consultative and customer centric approach . Able to speak in front of senior e xecutives as well as write clearly concisely and compellingly

      • Strong interpersonal skills with demons tr ated ability to present technical content to general audiences
