      The Vice President, Head of Strategy, Planning and Portfolio Management for SMB (Small and Mid-size Business) Payments and Payment Experiences and Services will report to the Managing Director leading those payments product areas. You will join the leadership team in a demanding, high growth/visibility role supporting a large, cross-functional team. The payments teams represented in the portfolio continues to rapidly grow across our investments, innovations and existing scaled products, services and platforms. We are seeking a talented and impactful individual with high IQ and EQ to help build team culture, help set and drive change, and connect the dots on a strategic agenda spanning multiple teams, partners, processes and LOBs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, a strong strategic thinker, strong communicator, is comfortable setting up and running processes and has strong execution skills. You should also have superior influencing/relationship management and team leadership skills.

      Job responsibilities

      • You will manage executive updates/communications to senior firm leaders and cross-LOB partners across multiple stakeholder groups
      • You will manage team’s product review cadences working with product leads / optimize our annual planning processes and build synthesized product and strategy roadmaps across teams
      • You will manage leadership team cadences and track strategic priorities
      • You must be able to lead, structure and delegate strategic special projects (e.g., select new business opportunities / early evaluation of concepts, strategic analytics)
      • You will set agendas for team cadences – team meetings, staff meetings, offsites (across quad of 500+ people)
      • You will work closely with Product and Finance on business cases / investment process

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • 5+ years product, strategy, business management, consulting or related experience; financial services experience preferred, retail experience preferred
      • Proven track record of organization, strategy, structured thinking and strong focus on execution and team building
      • Proven track record of strong prior performance in demanding, fast-changing environments; flexibility and resilience strongly valued
      • Strong focus on building interpersonal relationships and navigating complex, matrixed environments
      • Strong executive presence; communication skills and comfort interacting with and presenting to all levels of management / team
      • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
