      As the VP HR Transformation, you will provide executive leadership across HR transformation workstreams and connection into the Emerson transformation office, lead HRIS operations, and lead people data architecture and analytics. This role offers the opportunity to link and aid HR process improvements, while leading the human resources function in the optimization of digital roadmaps that will enable our transformation journey. This opportunity is a key ‘communities of expertise’ (COE) leader on the Emerson HR leadership team and reports directly to the Chief People Officer.

      You will have high visibility and exposure to Emerson Senior Leadership in order to lead and deliver execution within the functional transformation playbook. The VP HR Transformation is responsible for collaborating with the Transformation office to ensure translation of work activity to understood outcomes and ensure metrically driven accountability. You will lead a team of domain product leaders to motivate change and digital enablement and will work with the IT/HCM teams to develop the technical solution understanding, integrations, upgrades and/or improvements.

      The VP HR Transformation should have deep human resources domain knowledge coupled with project management leadership and accountability at scale. In addition, they will need robust experience across digital environments (inclusive of applications, strong digital dexterity and analytic skills, and a core understanding of best-in-class ways of converting data to information and represent those outputs with highly effective processes rhythm and visualization.


      In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

      • Develop and implement enterprise- wide transformation strategies aligned with organizational mission.
      • Establish a working cadence for HR transformation governance including optimizing operating connection into the digital, HCM environment and the Enterprise transformation team.
      • Lead global HRIS operations team to continue and optimize governance, org efficiency, and process discipline to enable a high quality HCM environment.
      • Own and optimize people analytics, dashboarding and reporting capabilities, and connected measurement of enterprise performance metrics related to the workforce.
      • Lead the translation of business/HR goals and objectives into concrete executable plans; understand HR processes and provide guidance in all aspects of HR technology management.
      • Serve as liaison between HR and IT to provide systems support and analysis; research, identify, and leverage digital technologies to create new (or modify existing) business processes and user experiences to meet business requirements.
      • Demonstrate experience in collaborating with senior leadership, IT, Procurement; large scale matrix leadership.
      • Experienced in the RFP and vendor selection processes; direct and challenge third party vendors and assess appropriate next generation technology recommendations.
      • Lead business relationships relating to process owners and partnering with IT to build and drive related processes and procedures.

      For This Role, You Will Need:

      • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
      • Minimum 12 years experience leading, driving, maintaining and improving HR technology and using project management tools and methodologies.
      • Working knowledge of HR systems and applications, development of impactful presentations showing business value, process analysis and recommendations.
      • Global, organization wide HCM implementation and optimization experience, ideally with Oracle, as well as other enterprise HR platforms and applications
      • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience leading and working on geographically distributed, global, multi-functional and matrixed teams.
      • Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development life cycles.
      • Experience managing a budget, estimating and forecasting.
      • Prior management of vendors, system integrators and support teams.
      • Understanding, experience, and skills with process re-engineering.
      • Strong emerging skill experience and comprehension in AI and ML, conversational design, bias avoidance, security, data privacy, content management.
      • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
      • Excellent leadership and exceptional executive presence, with the ability to attract, recruit, retain and develop future leaders.
      • Strong business insight and influence skills, capable to translate new technology into business value.
