- The VP, Investment Banking will have significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction execution.
- Develop new business in coordination with senior team.
- Oversee processing and participation in engagements of among mergers and acquisitions and private placements (growth capital raises).
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Finance, Investment Banking, and Investments
- Experience underwriting M&A and IPO transactions.
- Experience in financial modeling and due diligence.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience conducting investment banking, venture capital, private equity in the healthcare sector.
- Strong client management skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or advanced scientific degrees
- Series 79
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7, Series 63) are a plus
- 4-6 years of investment banking or relevant experience or an MBA plus 3-4 years of investment banking or relative experience

Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a member of Osaic, seeks an experienced Vice President for its healthcare investment banking team at its NYC and South Florida offices. Qualified applicants must have experience with private placements, PIPEs, registered directs, follow on offerings and other capital market products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter have prior experience in executing M&A and Equity Capital Markets transactions and a strong desire to be part of a team executing those transactions for high-growth healthcare companies in the public and private markets. As a Vice President, the role requires an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with financial statements and financial modeling and strong communication skills. It will require overseeing and mentoring Associates and Analysts.
Base Salary : $140,000-$170,000
